What is up?

We are Brandclick, the storytelling agency with the fundamental belief that great stories are contagious. For this reason, we help inspiring brands to unravel their story. Then, we share said story through inspiring, informing and/or amusing content with the relevant target audience through the appropriate online channels.

We're a team of marketing experts consisting of strategists, creative designers, digital developers, and content creators (copy, photography, video). Momentarily, we are working from the A’DAM Toren for multiple start-ups and scale-ups, such as Knops, Gkazas Olijfolie, Eventro and Palais de l’eau. From activation to conversion, we’ve got your back.

Already sounds awesome. What can I do?

Brandclick is mainly looking for a motivated programmer who will be ultimately responsible for everything related to development. You'll be overseeing all the websites and relevant tasks of Brandclick and its clients, from start to finish. You'll set out the necessary processes and workflow(s) to ensure projects and the team run smoothly as can be. What's essential to us, is that you proactively take the lead. You formulate tasks, ideas, improvements and support for our clients and the people that you are managing.

The people that you'll be working alongside with are Pim (one of our founders and senior developer), our design team (Korantin, Tessa and Aïse and our founders Daniël and Floris. With Pim you'll be able to dissertate in every internet language out there regarding work and (better) set up projects.

We get the most satisfaction out of creating cool stuff together in order to tell mesmerising stories. You can view Brandclick as an online playground filled with ambitious, inquisitive people who want to learn from each other and together grow. Each day is different and isn't solely filled with work for Brandclick and its clients. There's enough room for our own projects and participating in them. We love to share thoughts about these projects with each other. So, you would be Brandclicks' developer but there is room for much more than only that!

What are the requirements?

You are available for at least 4 days a week
At least 3 years of experience at an online marketing agency/creative agency at a relating company. This experience consists of productional and operational skills & skills in project management. Furthermore, you have experience in working in a scrum team
You work in a clear structure with version control. This ensure you write your code in an understanding, reusable and transferable way manner
Git, PHP and MySQL are like second languages to you
You think in JavaScript, talk HTML and dream in CSS
Furthermore, you have affinity with CMS platforms as Wordpress, Laravel and Shopify
In conclusion, other web development tasks, such as setting up servers, trouble shooting and (web-based) apps, are part of your skillset. If not, then you are highly passionate to learn more about these tasks asap!
